July 8 (Renewables Now) - Italian energy company ERG SpA (BIT:ERG) announced on Thursday that it has finalized taking possession of 33.8 MW of solar arrays at home.
Specifically, ERG's subsidiary ERG Solar Holding 2 Srl has completed the acquisition of MP Solar BV, a Dutch entity owned by ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund PE BV, for an enterprise value of EUR 128 million (USD 130.3m) as of December 31, 2021.
The acquired entity owns 18 operational photovoltaic (PV) systems located in the regions of Puglia, Molise, Lazio and Sardinia. All of them were put into service in late 2010 or in 2011, and benefit from Italy’s Conto Energia II, III and IV tariff regime.
