Just a few months after its takeover of Italian gaming industry operator Capecod Solutions, Greentube, the interactive division of international gambling company NOVOMATIC, has put another notch in its belt by acquiring Italian betting and casino site Admiral Sport.
Operating under the Admiral Yes brand, the popular site has been operated by Novomatic Italia since 2012. Admiral Sport also has a retail sports betting network of over 100 locations throughout Italy.
Italy is a key market for Greentube and two key acquisitions in four months is a strong indicator of its commitment to the market.
CEO of NOVOMATIC Italia, Markus Buechele, said: “Admiral Sport is a strong brand in the Italian market, both online and in retail, and we are very pleased with how the business has evolved over the years. With online continuing to grow strongly, under the umbrella of Greentube, Admiral Sport is best positioned to accelerate its business development and increase its market share.”
